Actor Matthew McConaughey before scenes bangs his chest and humms in order to concentrate better on his scenes. During the filming of - The Wolf of the Wall Street, while McConaughey was performing his ritual before the take, it was recorded.

Actor, Leonardo DiCaprio loved it a lot and felt it resonated a lot with his character and thus asked the director to incorporate it into the scene, which he did, and the rest is history.
