The famous Western actor has gained praise as an actor and director over his long career. In the 2000s, Clintwood expressed a desire to retire from acting and focus on directing. His direction of Mystic River was appreciated, which boosted his thoughts. But after directing and starring in Million Dollar Baby, the actor revived his passion for acting and now balances being an actor and director.
