Zoë Bell made audiences gasp in Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof when she performed her own death-defying stunts in the film. Cast as herself, Bell climbs onto the hood of a speeding Dodge Challenger during the film's iconic "Ship's Mast" scene. Unharnessed and un-CGIed, she balances atop the car while it speeds around corners, avoiding obstacles and pulling through abrupt turns. Bell was a professional stuntwoman, with work for Lucy Lawless and Uma Thurman. She prepared for the very intense physical requirements.
