But fans would be surprised to know that the role of psychotic businessman, Patrick Bateman was offered to Leonardo DiCaprio before onboarding Christian Bale. However, Leonardo declined the part as he didn't want to play a controversial character after seeing the negative reactions towards it. Eventually, the role was offered to Bale.
