Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen are electric in this adaptation of the Jane Austen classic. Every frame in this film, shot in the golden hour of cinematography, is a feast to the eyes. The rain-soaked declaration of love by Macfadyen remains one of the most swoon-worthy moments in cinema. Interestingly, Joe Wright, the director, had reservations about casting Knightley for the role of Elizabeth Bennet because she was "too pretty".
