13) Laurie in Little Women (1994)

In the 1994 fan-favorite adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's novel, Christian Bale was a major reason for bringing the romantic, free-spirited character of Laurie (secretly in love with Jo) into the spotlight, apart from the March sisters and their dreams, hurdles, and passions. Bale is famous for his gripping and dark characters, but in Little Women, he brought a youthful energy and depth to Laurie that audiences adored.
