Though the biographical film takes more of Hepburn as its concentration, Macht brings quiet elegance to his own character, living up to the charm and allure that Hepburn was attracted to in her years of formative life. It gave a certain complexity to their difficult, ephemeral relationship and stands as a high watermark of his young work. Macht's effortless charisma makes him right for the part, even while working alongside an amazing Jennifer Love Hewitt in the role of Hepburn.
