The concept of multiverse was initially introduced in the MCU in the movie Doctor Strange(2016). However, the concept has been around in the Marvel comics since the 1960s and 70s. Since the introduction of the multiversal concept, we have seen many characters of the MCU travel and interact with characters across various timelines which have intrigued fans leaving them wanting for more of these interactions and seeing new characters. From alternate versions of beloved heroes to entirely new characters with unique backgrounds and abilities, the potential for explosive narratives is limitless. Here's a list of 20 such multiversal characters we would love to see in the main timeline. Please note that this entire article is based on the writer's opinion. Reader's discretion is advised.

20) Sylvie/ Lady Loki (Loki)

As shown in the series Sylvie shares some similarities with Loki, such as her mischievous nature and a knack for trickery, but she also has a distinct personality and motivations, shaped by her harsh experiences. The introduction of her character has added more depth to Loki's character and her storyline might help explore more about the multiverse in the current phase of MCU.

In the What If...? series we see different versions of all the Avengers. For instance, the zombie Hawkeye, or the Hawkeye of the timeline where Ultron defeats the Avengers, introduces us to a more grizzled and apocalyptic take on Clint Barton. Different versions of Clint Barton could bring new and engaging storylines that deviate from the familiar adding more depth and versatility to the character.

While this version is not yet explored in the MCU, her immense potential and the themes from House of M, such as altering reality, creating alternate worlds, and dealing with grief and loss, were significant elements in the WandaVision series and Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness.

This version of Doctor Strange absorbs immense power from various mystical entities, losing himself to darkness in his quest to reverse an absolute point in time tied to his beloved Christine's death. He represents the dangers of unchecked ambition and the moral complexities of wielding tremendous power.

Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, from the series Loki breaks away from the traditional villain role to become an intriguing, morally complex anti-hero. His journey through the multiverse, alongside characters like Mobius and Sylvie, exposes him to new dimensions, time manipulation, and the TVA's secrets. After traveling through many timelines, his deep knowledge of the multiverse and its threats would be invaluable in navigating future conflicts and will be a great addition to the main timeline in MCU.
