Viewers are introduced to Vee Parker (played by Lorraine Toussaint), who quickly establishes her insidious and psychopathic personality. Highly intelligent, she knows how to read people and uses their weaknesses and a combination of fear and manipulation for her benefit. Her character is remorseless, and that makes her darkly evil.
