Gareth Evans, the director of The Raid and its sequel, has also directed a Netflix Original horror movie. Released in 2018, Apostle features Dan Stevens as a man searching for his missing sister on a Welsh island, encountering an unwelcoming community. Kind of dismissed as a riff on The Wicker Man, this is a clever little film, greatly improved by Michael Sheen's performance.
