Rubeus Hagrid, played by Robbie Coltrane, is undoubtedly one of the most heartwarming characters in the Harry Potter series, and he was more than just the Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. He was family to Harry, Ron, Hermione, and honestly, to all of us. His wholesome presence instantly lit up the screen, and so he definitely deserved more spotlight. The films did not fully explore his heart-wrenching past, and fans wanted to see more of his childlike wonder and quiet melancholy.
