Charlie Sheen could easily be spotted in movies such as Two and a Half Men and Platoon, where it would appear that smoking infected his partying personality and problem with substance abuse. He's been frank about his behavior and, to the dismay and horror of the public, has become the man of the town among Hollywood stars.
He has triumphed over some great challenges, including stints in rehab, almost as if they were some vacation for him. Yet Sheen remains recognizably a name that resonates with the darker side of fame.
