Simon Cowell is one of the media moguls and loudmouthed judges on America's Got Talent who has been smoking away like a tobacco-chewing industrial machine for a long time. He used to smoke 80 cigarettes a day, or so people go around shaking their heads in wonder at his health. Cowell's smoking habit often reinforces his macho image-almost as brazen as some of the no-nonsense critiques on TV. Although he's only recently attempted to quit the behavior, the earlier addiction has been the subject of heated debate in the media.
