Though Meester and Brody never had their characters interact with one another on The OC, they met while both working on The Oranges in 2011. The pair got married in 2014, with the couple sharing a child together. Meester's latest credits include a turn in the series Single Parents in 2018-2020, while Brody remains quite active, appearing in Shazam! Fury of the Gods, most recently, in 2023.
Their relationship has been very low-key, and both often say that their common interests and mutual respect are what is keeping the bond alive.
