The musical track of Purple Rain is what solidified Prince's position in the music industry. Through the tracks of this movie, like When Doves Cry, Let's Go Crazy, and Purple Rain, Prince produced chart-topping hit songs that earned him many Grammys and Oscars. The soundtrack injected electrifying energy into the movie and amplified its theme of racial resentment and misogyny.
