Perfect Blue is a psychological thriller animated movie that was released in 1997. The movie tells the story of a Japanese singer Mima Kirigoe who decides to leave the singing to become an actor. Her acting career starts to become distressing which leads to hallucinations and paranoia. Perfect Blue has the themes of psychological turmoil that takes place in an actor's life along with the danger of losing oneself in the pursuit of fame and success. The movie contains mature themes that are not suitable for kids.
