He even opened up that he once had a problem with it, talking about overcoming addiction to relationships. He is laudable because he spoke of it head-on and got help for the condition nobody knows about.
The experiences of Duchovny should remind everyone that celebrities, too, have to face struggles along with other humans. His honesty may prevent others suffering from similar conditions from taking treatment and discussing their experiences openly without shame.
