11) Sir Ian McKellen took golden coins and a house key to Bag End from "Lord of the Rings"

Sir Ian McKellen, who played the role of the magnificent Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings trilogy couldn't leave the set without some small, but telling remnants of Middle-earth. In his collection are the gold coins from the treasury of Smaug and Bag End key, Bilbo Baggins' snug hole. As shared by Sir McKellen himself, these props hold a big sentimental value for him because they remind him of the journey he took through the magical world of Tolkien.
