Bette Davis filmed several scenes for Wicked Stepmother, but left production after allegedly getting into conflicts with director Larry Cohen. However, she still made it to the screen, an unlikely occurrence as actors who quit filming midway don't end up on screen for that film. However, her role was cut short, shorter than what was originally carved out for her character. And as it turned out, Wicked Stepmother was Davis' last film before she passed.
