With movies like ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ and ‘Interstellar’, Matthew McConaughey is a name that deserves to be in the list of all-time greats. But, this was not always the case. Starting with romcoms like - ‘How to lose a guy in 10 days’ and ‘The Wedding Planner’, McConaughey wasn’t always thought of as a serious actor. His light hearted roles in his early days, which despite gaining widespread success on paper, weren’t critically appreciated and were dismissed as being simply too merry and playful.
