Sean Penn, as Harvey Milk in Milk, gave a performance that will never be forgotten. The prosthetics, which helped him to look like the civil rights activist, were just the beginning as he was able to channel Milk's passion for equality. The physical transformation and the emotional depth with which Penn portrayed Milk made him become the pioneering LGBTQ+ leader. His acting won him the Academy Award for Best Actor, and that was a strong position of becoming one of Hollywood's greatest versatile actors and capable of giving life to historical figures.
