In Bohemian Rhapsody, Gwilym Lee, in many ways, did nothing but resemble Biran May, the guitarist of the British group Queen. His wig, styled meticulously for the part, his trademark smile, and May's stoic stance made him more or less a replica of the legendary musician. His impersonation not only captured the visual likeness but also the softly spoken persona and musical excellence of May. Lee was obsessed with mastering May's techniques on the guitar, and his show was a highlight in a film full of musical legends.
