Val Kilmer did an excellent job in The Doors playing Jim Morrison. In addition to having an uncanny physical resemblance to the legendary frontman, he could grow long hair and wore intense eyes. He even sported that cocky rock star smile of the icon. He managed to capture the mystery and the rebellious streak and his quieter moments as well. His commitment to the role by singing most of Morrison's songs brought life to the film. His portrayal of the Doors' frontman became iconic and left a lasting mark in the minds of audiences as they watched the rock star's complex life unfold on screen.
