Ed McVey's Prince William in The Crown was strikingly realistic. His facial features and height made him look very much like the prince, especially when he was younger. His portrayal skillfully captured the understated and poised personality of the prince and brought to life the public figure without overshadowing the sensitivity of his character. McVey's performance was noticed, especially for his ability to reflect the future King of England during the most critical moments of his life.
