Geoffrey Rush in his role as Albert Einstein, particularly in the National Geographic TV show Genius, gave an outstanding performance. Even though the makeup, wig, and prosthetics rendered him almost identical to the picture of the famous scientist, this kind of nuanced performance conveyed complexity. Rush's uncanny resemblance, combined with his talent for playing Einstein's eccentricities as well as his genius, made for one of his most remarkable acting accomplishments.
