14) Bill Murray in Rushmore
Bill Murray received only $9,000 for his part in Wes Anderson's Rushmore. Murray readily accepted the paltry paycheck for supporting Anderson's film because it was within a low budget and therefore had limited money. Nevertheless, Murray's performance in the role of Herman Blume gave the film the impact to take it to heights that made Murray sustain with great reputation as an actor risk-taker. With many of these smaller, creative projects, he has since made a career that shows passion sometimes trumps profit.
