The film stars Mia Farrow and revolves around her character, Rosemary, who lives in an apartment in Manhattan and is pregnant. She begins to believe that her neighbors are part of a cult and are after her unborn child to use for their rituals. Farrow gave a career-defining performance but didn’t receive a nomination.
