Alaric’s dry wit and sense of humor have been an entertaining factor throughout the show. He provided much-needed comedic relief during the dark and grave times. Even in most serious situations, Alaric knew a way to lighten the mood. For instance, when he came to ask Jeremy whether he could sleep over at their house he teased him about his conversation with Bonnie which lightened the mood.
