The movie is based on the future when Earth becomes full of debris and uninhabitable, humanity has to escape on a giant spaceship to survive. The spaceship is filled with luxuries and amenities causing the humans to become obese and completely reliant on technology. When EVE a robot from the spaceship visits Earth a unique bond is formed with WALL-E and EVE. The movie serves as a stark warning to prevent pollution and overreliance on technology.
