This is a unique movie that tells the true story of African-American women who made crucial contributions during the early space programs of NASA in the 1960s. Despite facing racial and gender discrimination Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson excel in their career at NASA. These women were known as human computers. This is an inspiring movie and has a significant contribution to the space movie genre along with themes of overcoming racism and sexism, the power of education, and breaking barriers according to the viewers.
