Ad Astra tells the story of Roy who is an elite astronaut on his journey to protect humanity. When mysterious power surges threaten human civilization Roy is tasked to find the reason behind it. He sets out on a space mission traveling from Earth to Neptune. Through Roy's mission, he understands the psychological toll one has during isolation. This movie is an introspective the exploration of cosmos. The themes of alienation, isolation, and struggle for survival have been explored.
