In the movie The Martian, the protagonist, Mark Watney is left stranded on Mars. His crew leaves him when a dust storm occurs which forces the crew to evacuate. With limited supply and a hostile environment, Watney must survive with his wit and knowledge. He uses his own waste as fertilizers to grow potatoes on the land of Mars. Despite this harsh environment and obstacles Mark does not give up and keeps on surviving. The movie has won several awards including Golden Globe Awards.
