8) Life Is Beautiful

The movie has a unique depiction of innocence as it tells the story through a child's perspective. Gio is unaware of the grave situation that he is in at the concentration camp as his father shields him from the harsh realities using his games. Gio's father's unwavering intent to protect and shield Gio has resonated with the viewers. In spite of Guido's best efforts to shield his son, he is unable to do so. The ending of the movie has a lasting impact on the viewers making it hard to watch again.
