Grave Of The Fireflies portrays the human cost and struggles during the war. Seita and Setsuko’s struggle while battling starvation and disease is depicted in a realistic manner in the movie. The movie is often said to be too sad for its poignant depiction of suffering and a tragic ending that is too sad to watch again.
