Million Dollar Baby is a critically acclaimed movie with four Academy Awards. The movie’s depiction of Maggie’s devastating injury which leaves her paralyzed is heartbreaking for the viewers. The guilt that Maggie’s trainer, Frankie, suffers has deeply resonated with the viewers. Despite the hopefulness that Maggie had initially, her understanding of the extent of the disability and plea for euthanasia portraying the themes of life, death, and dignity is often said to be too difficult to watch again by viewers.
