Despite being a Disney movie, The Fox And The Hound is often catered to children and young viewers the movie is often said to be too sad to rewatch by some viewers. The movie revolves around the friendship of Tod, the fox, and Copper, the hound dog, which suffer because of societal pressure and the inherent differences between their species. The subtle exploration of the themes of prejudice and discrimination and strong emotions that are portrayed through the songs is often too difficult to rewatch according to the viewers.
