Due to his unusual abilities and strange personality, Flatman shows few signs of superhero potential as a member of the Great Lakes Avengers. Through his mutant talent, he can stretch his body into thin behavior more suitable for laughter than traditional heroic actions. Although his fashion mastery combined with his Origami-fu fighting methods sets him apart, he does not embody the superhero persona.
