A truly gratifying and surprising moment in Stranger Things Season 3 is when Chief Jim Hopper squares off with the eerie minister. The minister, outwardly a pious and innocent figure, is secretly involved in a covert operation linked to the Russians beneath the newly constructed mall in Hawkins. He may try to play the virtuous role, but Hopper isn't fooled. He barges into the minister’s office, exuding that signature roughness, and drops the bomb: he knows about the schemes. It is a perfect example of Hopper's no-nonsense approach.
