At the Fourth of July carnival in Hawkins, Jim Hopper faces off against a cold-blooded, shades-wearing Russian who’s basically the Terminator in a leather jacket. This is one of the most brutal fight scenes in Stranger Things. Unlike the highly skilled Soviet, Hopper fights not with precision but with an unstoppable, primal ferocity. He endures some savage blows yet refuses to stay down, fighting back valiantly. He might not win the round, but he makes sure the Russian remembers him.
