Much beyond being a comedy relief within a series of action and superheroes as depicted in Guardians of the Galaxy, Drax possesses an intricate tragic background where loss haunts him, and the unstoppable pursuit to take revenge infuses some emotionality to him, which gives more depth even in the otherwise humorous jokes of the actor.
