11) Boyd supporting his son

When Boyd returns from the forest he finds the town is in a bad situation. He finds from his son, Ellis, that Fatima is in a bad state. However, Boyds reassures Ellis and gives him hope. Boyd also suggests his son be there for Fatima. This shows his understanding of emotional well-being despite the physical danger that surrounds the townspeople.
