Silent but deadly—literally. Thomas Hutter (Gustav von Wangenheim) visits the eerie Count Orlok (Max Schreck) in Transylvania, only to realize his host is a vampire with a taste for more than just real estate. As Orlok makes his way to Hutter’s hometown, a terrifying plague follows in his wake. Directed by F. W. Murnau in 1922, Nosferatu remains a horror masterpiece, setting the gold standard for vampire films with its haunting visuals and Schreck’s unforgettable performance.
