1) “Why so serious?” in The Dark Knight

This is one of those viral memes that put a smile on our faces (pun intended) without fail. No wonder the “Why so serious?” moment from The Dark Knight (2008) has become a widely shared internet moment, and for good reason. Originally, in the film, Heath Ledger's Joker says this line to intimidate and ridicule, but online, it’s found a whole new purpose. It's often used to poke fun at people who are overreacting to something minor, like when someone makes a mountain out of a molehill or gets overly worked up about small problems.
