Donna used to be Harvey’s secretary before Harvey lost a bet to Louis and she had to work for him. In this scene, we see Harvey stunning Louis after revealing to him that he has been paying Donna's salary out of his pocket for years in response to Louis gloating about how Harvey is jealous. This scene perfectly encapsulates the power struggle going on between the two lawyers the revelation leaves Louis stunned, as well as humiliated as Harvey shatters his sense of victory.
