During a scene where she had to wear a heavy, elaborate costume, he replaced some of her clothing items with very large, goofy ones just so she would crack up. Penélope Cruz has a fantastic sense of humor and did not even flinch but played along with him and had fun. Their friendship behind the scenes was as engaging as the adventure-filled world of Pirates.
