Primer is considered one of the most complex films ever made about traveling in time. Taking place on a shoestring budget, the story involves two engineers who accidentally stumble into a discovery of time travel in a side project of theirs. Its non-linear narrative, sparse dialogue, and highly convoluted plot make it such that viewers are constantly piecing together the puzzle. Thus, because this movie is ambiguous as well as intellectually challenging, each re-watch brings new and deeper facts and theories.
