Based on a book by Jenny Han, To All the Boys I've Loved Before is about a girl, Lara Jean, who had written five letters to her five crushes through various phases of her life. After a fight with her sister, who sends out these letters, chaos takes place. Peter is charismatic and popular and ensures that he helps Lara Jean when she needs it, but the relationship is often filled with insecurities and misunderstandings. There is no balance, too. Either they are totally in love or totally against each other, which isn't particularly liked by the audience.
