Gilmore Girls is a comfort series about a mother and a daughter trying to navigate life in the small town of Starshollow. Rory, the intelligent and smart protagonist of the story, is perhaps not as smart about what to do when it comes to her love life. She wasn't able to move on from her first boyfriend – Dean. Their relationship, although healthy at first, turned into an over-dependent, jealous, and insecure situation. They have ended up hurting a lot of people because of their gravitating nature, where they always find each other at the first sign of any adversary.
