Law Abiding Citizen is that one film where justice and revenge stand at such an angle that a viewer's conscience will keep on questioning their own morality. Gerard Butler's character Clyde Shelton is no ordinary man who is taking revenge on society, instead, he's the master strategist, who begins waging a war against the legal system because his family has been brutally murdered by two dangerous thugs. The movie is unpredictable. With each of his plans becoming elaborate, systemic failures are exposed along with raising the stakes. Packed with twists and moral complexity, Law Abiding Citizen keeps viewers gripped until its explosive climax.
