The Revenant is the ultimate story of survival and revenge. This film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as frontiersman Hugh Glass, who engages in a brutal fight for survival after his comrades left him to die. Enduring freezing temperatures, savage animals, and what seems to be irrecoverable injuries, Glass pursues a relentless vendetta against those that left him behind. Alejandro González Iñárritu's ravishing cinematography and DiCaprio's raw, visceral performance make for a haunting, almost meditative tale of vengeance that is both primal and deeply personal.
